OneForEdit is founded by Aasil Khan,(300k followers) a content creator and agency founder. The company provides video editing services and was looking to transition from a traditional agency model to a productized service model to cater to a broader audience efficiently.

Project Goals

The primary goal was to redesign OneForEdit’s website to align with its new productized service offering. The website needed to:

• Improve user experience with a clear hierarchy and customer-centric design.

• Reduce high loading times.

• Showcase the company’s portfolio and testimonials to build trust with potential clients.

• Support the launch of a productized video editing service.

Challenges

1. Transitioning from a traditional agency model to a productized service required a new approach to website design and messaging.

2. The existing website lacked proper structure and failed to address customer needs effectively.

3. It was crucial to create a design that resonated with the target audience while clearly communicating the benefits of the productized service.

Process

1. Initial Discussions
   I reached out to Aasil, and after he reviewed my previous work, we scheduled a detailed call to discuss his needs, goals, and expectations for the new website. We also aligned on the budget and timeline during this phase.

2. Research and Ideation
   Based on our discussions, I identified key areas to address, including restructuring the website’s hierarchy, improving the loading time, and emphasizing customer-centric elements.

3. Design Phase

   • I created a custom layout and design from scratch using Figma.

   • The design incorporated sections to highlight OneForEdit’s portfolio, client testimonials, and a clear breakdown of the productized service offering.

   • After several iterations and feedback from Aasil, the final design was approved.

4. Development Phase

   • Using Framer, I translated the approved design into a fully functional website.

   • The site was optimized for performance and responsiveness to ensure an excellent user experience across devices.

Outcome

The newly redesigned website for OneForEdit:

• Features a clean and intuitive layout with improved loading times.

• Clearly communicates the productized video editing service, making it easy for clients to understand and purchase.

• Showcases the company’s work and testimonials effectively, building trust with potential customers.
